ETHTokyo Conference 2026 - Speaker Application

ETHTokyo Conference 2026 will be a high-signal gathering for cypherpunks building credible, open, programmable systems from across the globe.

We are here for Ethereum as public infrastructure: permissionless, plural, privacy-preserving, verifiable, and useful beyond token games. We are a coordination layer in Tokyo for builders, researchers, technologists, operators, institutions, and independents confronting the question: what should a credible, open, programmable society look like?

Bring technical depth, hard-earned lessons, live experiments, uncomfortable questions, and clear theses.

You do not need to be famous. You do not need to represent a large organization. We welcome independent hackers, researchers, engineers, designers, open-source contributors, students, community organizers, policy thinkers, and people working from adjacent fields.

First-time speakers are welcome if the proposal is strong.

We are unlikely to accept:

Pure company pitches
Generic “future of blockchain” talks
Sponsored content disguised as thought leadership
Panels without a sharp question
Talks that could have been written without touching production systems, users, governance, markets, or code

A good proposal should answer at least one of these:

What does this clarify that serious builders need to understand?
What did you learn from shipping, operating, researching, or failing?
What assumption in the ecosystem needs to be challenged?
What technical, social, economic, or political constraint are you confronting?
Why does this matter now?
