2025-09-12 –, Ethreactor Stage
Language: English
This session will bring together protocol contributors, researchers, and hardware specialists to discuss the importance of individual validators (solo stakers) and the future of solo staking.
There are currently around 1.12 million validators on Ethereum, most of which are concentrated in Europe and the US, and operated by large-scare node operators (Staking Service Providers).
At the same time, the technical and financial barriers to spinning up / running a validator have been steadily decreasing year by year, thanks to better documentations, dedicated setup tools, and ongoing efforts at the protocol level.
Against this backdrop, this session will bring together protocol contributors, researchers, and hardware specialists to discuss the importance of individual validators (solo stakers) and the future of solo staking.
